Hello! I am a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, double majoring in Biochemistry and English with an emphasis in Creative Writing. Since freshman year, I have been part of the Buller lab. I have been working toward developing and optimizing a coupled enzymatic cascade for the biocatalytic synthesis of β-amino alcohols.
Apart from being involved in undergraduate research, I am also the managing editor of the Journal of Undergraduate Science and Technology at UW-Madison. I am a recently recruited Undergraduate Writing Fellow and a communication student writer for the Badger Chemist magazine. In the future, I aspire to attend graduate school and be a Ph.D. student in a biochemistry lab.
I strongly believe in the power of words, and I am confident that they can help make scientific accomplishments more accessible to non-expert communities. In my free time, I enjoy reading and playing chess and scrabble.
