RESEARCH DESCRIPTION
I am currently a laboratory director for the Analytical Sciences Division in the Department of Chemistry at UW-Madison. I am responsible for the laboratories associated with the analytical chemistry instrumentation courses at the advanced undergraduate and graduate levels. I have experiences with the use, maintenance and repair of a variety of analytical instruments including: FTIR, HPLC, NMR, GCMS, ICP-OES, UV-Vis, CE, Raman, fluorimeter, polarimeter and electrochemical potentiostats for CV and impedance spectroscopy. I am also the supervisor of the departmental electronics shop and I serve on the Department of Chemistry Safety Committee.
