I enjoy the wide variety of people that I get to work with and love interacting with the students.
- Meet Becca Moy. Becca started with the department in August of 2023. Before she was in chemistry, she and her husband were located in Germany for his work. She worked for the Wisconsin Union in events before their international stint. Now, her job includes planning department events like retirements, graduation, awards, graduate recruiting, and industry visits. She also works with students and staff to coordinate travel, work through reimbursements, and help the graduate program office with administration. She says she enjoys the variety of her job, “The events I work on have a lot of variety in scale and audience, which keeps things interesting.” Beyond work, Becca loves to travel and says she and her husband spend lots of time planning for their next trip. They now love taking their one-year-old son on their adventures.
