Peter Jaeger received his Masters in Natural Resources in 2003 from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and will receive a Masters in Administration in 2024 from Southern New Hampshire University. Peter earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics in 1995 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. As an undergrad, he supported research in the Department of Oncology and was listed as a contributing author on several research papers investigating immunotherapeutic treatments for metastatic melanoma.
Peter has served as an educator over many different levels and roles. He taught various science courses at the middle and high school levels since 1997. In addition, he has been an adjunct instructor for introductory science courses at Lakeland University and Southern New Hampshire University since 2011. He has served as a new teacher mentor and cooperating teacher for students pursuing their teaching license. He earned the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification in 2007 and again in 2017 along with his Master educator license from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. As a former Badger athlete, he is a member of the W Club Advisory board which provides support and input to the group which seeks to connect current and former letter winners to the University of Wisconsin and each other.
