Stacy Keding has 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical research and development spanning early discovery through clinical development. In her current role, Stacy collaborates with senior leaders to define, operationalize, and communicate Lilly’s overarching R&D strategy to both internal and external stakeholders. She is passionate about delivering strategic insights to inform and shape business decisions that can help Lilly deliver on its mission to provide breakthrough medicines for patients around the world.

Stacy has previously held positions in Discovery Chemistry Research and Technologies, Competitive Intelligence, and Portfolio Management at Lilly since joining in 2004. She has degrees from Augsburg College (B.A. 1995, B.S. 1996), University of Wisconsin-Madison (Ph.D. 2001), and certificates in business management (Harvard) and competitive intelligence. Stacy is a member of the Tocqueville Council for the United Way of Central Indiana.

Stacy is married to Paul LePlae, Jr. (also a UW-Madison alum) and they have two daughters, Madeline and Olivia.
