I love getting to know so many people from varied backgrounds! I also love the variety of work I get to do; I am never bored.
- Meet Rebecca Carlson. Rebecca has been with the department for just over a year and a large part of her job involves assisting PIs and graduate students with travel and reimbursement. She also plans seminars and is the lead admin for tenure cases. Before chemistry, she was an administrative assistant at a church and also ran the children’s department at a local Barnes & Noble for a few years. Outside of work, she loves to hang out with her family, try new restaurants, cook, bake, hike, and play an occasional game of Dungeons and Dragons with friends.
